the flushing...
My toilet has this kind of eternal post-flush going on.
Like the bowl is just refilling very slowly or... for a very long time, or there's a leak somewhere in the internal plumbing so it just keeps re-filling, i dunno.
It's almost soothing, like rainfall or a babbling brook, so half the time i don't even notice it, but when i do i worry that somewhere, someone is paying the price for my possibly broken toilet.

Well, i'll be out of here in a little less than two months anyway!
*washes hands of matter, hope sink doesn't break as well*

Hey, mine has that issue going on RIGHT NOW. First, make sure the handle isn't stuck. If that's all good, take the lid off the back of the john. Make sure your plunger-thing is properly attached to the chain and moves properly and nothing is obstructing it from opening and closing.

Usually it's a problem with that back tank if a toilet just keeps running and running, but they should be really easy to stop!

It's not a handle problem. If it goes on for too long i'll open up the tank and there's a little lever i just sort of wiggle and it stops, so... *shrug*

Yeah, I think that little lever thing is the chain/plunger thing I was talking about. It's just not opening and closing properly, thus the running water. Mine JUST developed this issue and I have no idea why.

Haa... people talking about toilets and water bills always reminds me of this:

You are paying the price in your water bill. Soothing money sounds. Hope it's fixed. :)
P.s Wanna set up an april weekend now? My month is gonna fill up. The 5th, 12th and 26 are good right now.
